How to Merge PDFs

  1. Upload 2 to 10 PDF files (each max 20MB) in the order you want.

  2. Click merge. ConvertFloor combines them into one document.

  3. Page order and quality are preserved.

  4. Download the merged PDF. Your files are not stored.

What happens when you use PDF Merge

Upload between 2 and 10 PDF files (each up to 20MB) in the order you want them in the final document. Click merge and we combine them into a single PDF on our servers. The merged file is ready to download; your originals are not stored and are deleted after processing. Page order and quality are preserved so you get one continuous document from multiple sources. If the combined file is too large to email or upload, use our Compress PDF tool to reduce its size.

Half the time people need Compress PDF right after PDF Merge—same workflow, different output.

Two writes worth bookmarking: merging without scrambling page order and shrinking the bundle after you merge.

If this isn’t the last stop, people often chain PDF Split then Compress PDF —same file, different headache.

When PDF Merge is the right call

  • When you need to combine invoices, reports, or chapters into one file
  • When you have scanned pages or multiple PDFs to join in order
  • When you want one document for sharing or archiving
  • When merging contract appendices, forms, or presentations
  • When consolidating drafts or feedback into a single PDF

Formats

In: PDF only. Between 2 and 10 files, each max 20MB. Upload order = page order in the result.
Out: Single PDF containing all pages in the chosen order.

Uploads are processed for conversion only—we are not building a library of your documents.

Small things that help

  • Name your files in order (e.g. 01-chapter1.pdf, 02-chapter2.pdf) so you upload them in the right sequence.
  • If the merged file is too big for email, compress it with our Compress PDF tool.
  • To extract one page from a merged PDF later, use the PDF Split tool.

When it goes sideways

  • Merge fails or times out: Ensure each file is under 20MB and you have 2–10 files. Try again with fewer or smaller PDFs.
  • Wrong page order in result: The order you upload is the order in the merged PDF. Re-upload in the correct sequence.
  • Some pages missing or corrupted: Use PDFs that open correctly in a reader. Password-protected or damaged files may not merge properly.
